Maybe you could use it in a bong! That way you could "kill" two birds with one stone. After "you" get fertilized you could empty the bong on your plants? AK

Great comments, all, but, Al, seriously, do you have an opinion on what would be best with pulverized seaweed?

Al, Which Dyna-Gro do you use? There are several different ones that seem to be significantly different.

This is the one that I use. It is sold at the bonsai nursery in town here. I have never searched for any others. I like it because the first number(nitrogen) is a little lower than what is good for the roots. Seems to add a punch without elongating the internodes. Later, Bonsaial

If anyone else is interested in following Al's "crappy smell fertilizing schedule" - I have located a fish fertilizer that does not smell - as bad. The supplier is "Neptunes Harvest" and they also sell a fish/seeweed combo - $14 per quart (delivery charges included). Of course they also claim it is better - the website goes in to the detail.

I am currently trying the fish/seeweedcombo - it still smells - but maybe not as bad! My dog has not tried to eat my trees - the reason I stopped using it before. I am wondering what a "really weak solution" is?? The full stregnth application is 1 tablespoon per gallon.

Their website is http://www.neptunesharvest.com. I see that Stone Lantern is also selling it.
