Since I'm in Zone 9 and in Australia I sometimes repot my juinpers in autumn sometimes but much prefer to wait until spring to repot all my conifers. I guess it depends on what you believe will work. I know that I have no problems with repotting in the spring. However I tend to stress out a lot if I do it in the autumn and don't see any growth before winter sets in.

Depends also on how cold it is already.

Quite a few people down here repot in autumn their conifers because they have too many trees to repot in spring.

There shouldn't be a problem doing it but temperature really is the key.

What about at night? If these temps would last for a month then you should be able to do the repot.

This is only my opinion. Hopefully other people in zone 7 can give you more advice as well.

I think you might be ok. Might want to give it some protection in the night if it gets much colder.

Personally I would wait til spring to be safe.

Don't forget all trees need protecton from strong winds and extrem heat after repoting at least 2 weeks to let them settle in
