to repot or not - that is the question!
Hi
I've got this tree (obviusly!) and I think to have accidently put it into a wrong soil mixture when I had repotted it last winter before spring. Now water takes 2min or so to percolate throught the soil surface. Should I repot it now or should I wait for the appropriate time for doing so? Thanks - simsorbartin |

I don't know about seasons, and stuff like that, but I think that, if the time is near to the appropriate and the soil mix is not good, you could do it, of course, if the risk of repotting is smaller than the risk of letting it on that soil.

The question is what kind of tree are you talking about. Some trees like decidious can be saifly repotted in mid season and some like evergreens will not tolerate it. It would help to know what we are talking about.

The tree is evergreen and is a buckthorn - rhamnus alaternus

I would repot the rhamnus alaternus.
