Actually, I do get my lava at Home Depot, but it may be a regional item. I get pumice at the garden store, the brand is "Whitney Farms". Again, it may be regional.

What size is it? Do you have to crush it? If so, how do you go about it? I've seen lava rock at Lowes but it's about the size of a golfball.

This stuff I get here at Home Depot comes in a pretty small bag, sold with the indoor plant soil and stuff. Is is already a nice size. If I remember, I'll post the brand next time I'm out in the shed.

The sometimes sell on eBay as well, but you may be able to contact them directly as well.
