Question Mystery Fertillizer

I got a gift of pouch of fertilizer. It's really small black miss-shapen circles. I tried to dissolve it in water and it took more then a week. It started to smell like solid human waiste, no kidding, no exageration. So I threw it out. How often should I use this stuff, or at all (the person bought it from a bonsai store but didn't get a name or a chem. name or anything)

ya, Treebay (Matt?) could be right.
I've heard rumors that aliens have crooked spherical poop.

No markings on the package? It could be anything! I picked up some fertilizer samples in Japan, and one of them looked rough large pebbles.

If you want, experiment with it, but on insignificant plants.

Regards

Matt.

I can't tell you really, sorry. Sounds like it's an organic fertilizer because of the stinkage, but who knows. Something in that ballpark maybe, 1 teaspoon per square foot, maybe 1/2 or two, You'd have to either experiment or find somebody to do an analysis for you, and I don't think the county ag agents would do that for free, but who knows?

Fertilizer isn't really that expensive, so maybe just use it on some plants in training where you don't have to worry too much if they burn a bit.

Regards,

Matt
