While we're here...I don't know if anyone is interested, but I emailed the company that makes Turface and asked them if they might make it more readily available. Possibly by selling smaller bags at Lowes/Home Depot etc. If this is something you would like to see as well, please send them a message indicating such. Gravel meaning grit like chicken grit, lava rock, actual gravel, etc.

The main reason they mentioned that people were using fir bark instead of peat is because of the difficultly removing all the fines from the peat.
