I either used too much or did it too early
![]() A few weeks ago I fertilized (chemical kind) one of my trees, a pepper tree, and lately I've noticed it doesn't look so good. The ends of a few of the leaves are yellowish and 'crispy' feeling. Any tips on how I can get it back to normal? I've been watering it as usual, though I have been letting the water sit out for 24 hours to get rid of chlorine... I doubt it helps, but couldn't hurt. Thanks! Last edited by Shambhala : 5-Apr-2003 at 05:28 PM. |

I'm not familiar with pepper trees, but instead of watering as normal, try putting the tree in a bucket of water with a hose running. This might draw out the chemicals and aid the tree, as over fertilising causes de hydration

What was the analysis (N_P_K levels) of the fertilizer?
