Huh? Ever used Masa rock

Was at Kim's Bonsai Nursery the other day and picked up two bags of a soil amendment called Masa Rock. He says that it is the Korean version of akadam. Just wondering if any one else has used this in their mix ? Or knows any one who has ?

I bought a bag last year. I have not yet used it. Spring is on it's way though.

How are the "fields-o-juniper" doing at kims? I need to make another trip up there some day soon.

Tell me about it, they have the most junipers I have ever seen in one nursery. They look good, wish I could have bought a few, had allot of passangers in the car so I had no room.It was my first time out to Kim's and I tell you what, I'm going back real soon!

The masa rock seems to be more of a decomposed granite then clay though.
