Nice thing about potting in 100% kitty litter is that the Kitties know where to go.
You don't need any organic (unless your cat adds it....) John

I'm currently experimenting with it, 100% with a BC and Korean Fir. Apparently the particles are quite difficult to break, even when frozen, so should last at least a couple of years.
I had to let it soak for 3 days before I used it to get rid of the artificial scent, which is there to counteract the smell of cat waste. The scent doesn't seem to be harmful anyway. Tesco have a lot of cat litters on sale. Some are just wood chipings, some contain a soft clay that clumps and even turns to a sort of mud when exposed to water (to soak up cat wee?). It needs to be the LIGHTWEIGHT one, whitish and brown packaging. About £2.80 for 8 litres.
