What I am hearing about this stuff from those who use it in other applications it seems that under the right circumstances it becomes an impenetrable mass. This is something I would consider not using for bonsai at this point. It sounds more like Quick Set concrete than anything else.

This is very simple thing. the substance has two possiblities.
1. Raw it the stickiest substance you can get. just 2 percent in a clay mix will make the other 98 percent able to be thrown on a wheel, aka plastic..eez like potent stuff 2. Fired it becomes hard and can be used as a component in kitty litter.
