Hello everyone,

Today I found a package waiting on my doorstep. Inside I found, starting at the top left...

angled tweezers
small concave cutter
small spherical knob cutter
bud scissors
root cutter
heavy shears
trunk splitter
trimming shears

Fantastic! These are great because I (1) stepped on my angle tweezers during last repotting season, (2) never had a small size concave cutter, (3) never had a small knob cutter, (4) never had a pair of bud scissors, (5) can always use an extra root cutter since these see so much wear (6) never tried using heavy shears of this sort, (7) never had a trunk splitter, and (8) use my current pair of trimming shears more than perhaps any other tool in my toolkit, so I'm delighted to have a high-quality pair like these.

So my hearty thanks to Ron Martin at Tokonoma Bonsai for this beautiful toolkit.

It took me years of hard work to be thought of as a grumpy old man. Don't need you young whipper-snappers trying to change that.
