Contest Prizes and info

All things pertaining to this contest including all entrys to date can be found here.

Prizes so far are as follows, pictures, updates and which prizes go to which place will be posted here as the info becomes available.

FIRST
  1. Bonsai Tool kit donated by Ron Martin
  2. Bonsai book and some pots donated by pdbbonsai:
    a) The Complete Book of Bonsai (Tomlinson)
    b) Blue Cascade Pot
    c) Green oval pot
  3. $20.00 donation in winner's name to bonsaiTALK donated by Will Heath
SECOND
  • Handmade bonsai stand donated by Bonsaial
  • $15.00 donation in winners name to BonsaiTALK donated by Will Heath
THIRD
  • An original painting donated by Geodude

FOURTH Special prize:
If someone in Europe places in the top 5 - A chinese elm seedling and some Acer seeds will be sent to them by rowan57

Walter Pall has graciously agreed to judge this contest. He will pick the winners out of the five winners of the popular vote. He will also give an explanation of each choice.

Looks like we are going to have some very nice prizes for this contest! We will decide how these wonderful prizes will be assigned to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place soon.

Everyone who donated a prize has requested that if they win that place then their prize should be passed down to the next in line.

Time is running out to submit your entry before pictures. Bust open the piggy banks and rush on down to your local nursery so you can be part of BonsaiTALK's 2004 styling contest!

Is this one okay for my donation as a prize I tried to pick something that can perhaps be displayed with a bonsai.
Image is about 9" by 12". It'll be matted to fit a standard 12" by 16" frame.
