Question for the Taste Police

Would it be legal to put a bluish green juniper in a plain glazed white square
cascade pot?

IC,
Legal, sure. Attractive, maybe. Traditional, no,

Bottom line, your bonsai, your choice.

Iris;
If you decide to go ahead with this, could you post some pics on one of
the galleries. i make this request because I, too, have a white, square
cascade pot that I purchased because it looked so good in the shop. I
almost put a cascading procumbens in it but decided not to because it
was not the right size. At least that is what I told myself at the time.
Perhaps it was really because the white and blue-green combo reminded me
of some of my bad wardrobe choices of the 80s.
Anyway, I can't decide what to do with the pot. Perhaps you can inspire
me.

Oh, dear. The reason I was considering it is because the Japanese have a
proverb which allows them to put a pine tree in a white pot. I think I will get
the pot anyway because the price is right. Then I can see how they look
together.
