Re: [IBC] Satsuki problem, soils ( I changed the title as subject
Theo asked about DIY (do-it-yourself) fish emulsion... yum yum!
>>Theo, >>FISH + Water + Blender = Fish Emulsion!!!! >>:>) >>Dale "Remember Saturday Night Live's Bass-O-Matic" Cochoy > Jim Lewis added: > Well, that would work. But does the blender turn it that ugly > thick s_ _ t brown? The step you left out, is that it needs to sit around and FERMENT for a while! Preferably in the back seat of your worst enemy's car... And that it starts not with nice clean whole fish, but with all the yucky leftover bits, heads and guts and whatnot. I use quite a bit of that ALASKA brand "start-up" ( which they say includes some B1 BTW). It's cheap and I use it in a big tub outside sometimes when I'm soaking b&b stuff I've bare rooted before I pot it. Anyway, after it sits for a week or so in the tub outside it smells amazingly like my new home basement sump pump floor crock did when I moved in after the workers all pee'd in it for 4 months while they built the house!!.... so... It MUST be great stuff! : ![]() Dale Cochoy, Wild Things Bonsai Studio, Hartville, Ohio DaleCochoy@Prodigy.Net http://www.WildThingsBonsai.Com Specializing in power wood carving tools.
