[IBC] OT: Browsers and mail client - Reporting in: the divorce is final

Just FYI, after fairly extensive testing of Opera, Mozilla,
Netscape, and a couple of other (IE-add-on) browsers, and
several different (including Eudora that so many recommended) e-
mail programs, I'm now happily using Mozilla Firefox and Pegasus
Mail, rather than the M'soft products.

Now that I have configuration deciphered (esp. for Mozilla
Firefox), both work fine, are faster than M'soft, and much
safer. With Pegasus, I now have my ISP's spam filters,
Mailwasher, and Pegasus' own (fairly limited) filter. The
result? 0

I wish I could take OE and IE off my system, but Windows 98
would break if I did and I'm not quite brave enough to go to a
different operating system -- yet.

Opera would have been my second choice of browser, but it just
didn't strike me right somehow. and I did NOT like its e-mail.
