Well crew, now you know I wasn't teasing. Let's welcome Lynn to her new post by sending a donation to the IBC so our list and web-site can carry on.

On another topic, you a all scarred me badly today. No posts?? What's up with that?

When I have a little time later, I'll share the story of my oak (Quercus lobata) that scared me witless the middle of last month. That's one of the things I like best about bonsai . . . always something to learn.

A new Treasurer? Reiner out the door? Not really!
He is there for me as a guide when needed. How could I possibly fill his
shoes, or not keep Shelly informed.

I joined the list before Reiner and Jim were our owners, leaders, and,
unlike numerous other lists and attachments that I have long since dropped,
THIS list continues to surprise me with the high callibre of people, of
information, and its ability to grow, change and adapt. Our forums are
just outstanding! It easily becomes a permanent attachment to our days.
Names become those of friends.

Re payments to the IBC treasury:
The list has continued with little effort to collect the costs for
maintaining and the members have contributed with only a reminder
occasionaly that the bills are due. We have been able to pay our bills
without asking that every member pay by virtue of generous members; you
occasionally see their names posted with a thankyou. We all want to see
every one with bonsai interest to share with us. Thank you for just being
here, and thanks a second time if you can contribute.

Most money will come in from regular mail to my address. If you use
the Paypal option you can pay directly on line to my Lynn C. Boyd (IBC)
account.
If you use Paypal you will know how, or will find the directions on line
easier than my description. From your Paypal acct click on Sending Money.
Via Paypal we can accept foreign currency, too.
Our next bills are due the end of this month. We look okay for this one.
