bonsaiCAM problem

matt, i finally made it on to one of these, but i have a question, maybe i am missing something and please correct me if i am, but i kept getting "kicked" back to the login screen every three minutes, is this normal, if not, what am i missing?

Well knowing your environment would help answer the question

Connection Type: Dial up / DSL / Cable Modem

Browser: Internet Explorer / AOL / Netscape Navigator / Mozilla / ?

Chat type: Normal / Safe


My guess is that you're on a dial up. The chat works by keeping a connection open, and your dial up service probably decides you are not doing anything and closes the connection.

You can try using "safe mode" which just pings the connection to keep it open.

Or, if you are in AOL you might also try opening a separate Internet explorer window for the chat.

matt, i am on a cable modem using internet explorer and i was attempting to use normal mode.

You might try SAFE mode next time. You will hear periodic page refreshes going on.

I have the same configuration; however, I don't get kicked out except after a significant amount of inactivity (half hour or hour or something)
