White/yellowish spots and holes on leaves

I just bought this tree and transported it home. These look like they could be caused by pests, but I dont know if maybe it is just from stress to the tree. Either way here are some pix.

Background. I bought the Weeping Barbados Cherry Tree less than a week ago, sits on back porch with half day of light and half day of shade. Soil doesn't feel dry. Was watered the day I bought it and I watered it today. I will be using fertalizer in a few days. I live in north florida. If there is anything else that would help, let me know.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

These white spots don't look like any disease or insect pest that have been reported on barbados cherry.
They look more like a burning injury of the leaf epidermis by some sort of water-soluble chemical that was put on on the leaves.
The chemical itself is not toxic at the concentration it was put on the leaf, but when it is in a drop of water that remains for for a certain time before evaporating it becomes more and more concentrated and may burn the surface of the epidermis when it completely dries out.
This is most probable a temporary condition and should not occur on other leaves, or leaf parts, unless the same product comes again in contact with the leaves in other water drops.

Thanks

That makes a lot of sense. I will just relax and keep an eye on them and make sure it doesn't spread. Thank you for your help.
