Question White Stuff On My Pine

I have had white spots on my pine some time now and I haven't concidered it harmfull, but then I read somewhere about that it can be somesort of pest? What can i do? The pine is now dormant. Photo:

Looks like wooly aphid. You can see the little suckers on the trunk in the extreme lower left corner scrape one off and crush it. If it bleeds, we can kill it!

Malathion mixed as instructions. Sprayer. Outdoors. Latex Gloves, Mask and Goggles. No children, pets, fish, ferrets nearby, please.

Repeat application in 10 days - 2 weeks. Should be gone in a month.

Now I need to get this Malathion thing. Where can i get it? I tryed to find an online dealer at google but with no succes.

Check your garden center. In the US, at least, it's a key ingredient in many brand-name insecticides.

Yes, I will look around in garden centers. The only thing is that many of them are klosed in winter...
