Hi, Does anyone have any ideas as to a method of preventig White pine blister rust on my bonsai? I have a nice little white pine and I am concered as my neighbor said the white pine in his yard has blister rust. I am hoping that there might be some sort of way to prevent bister rust ona high value ornamental tree that might not be practical for the average tree. I live in Northern Minnesota, a region hit widely by blister rust. Thanks, Shane

I still wonder about the use of fungicides for Bonsai. Alll of the info that I see just says that they are impractical. When one waters a tree everyday, a daily spraying or application of fungicide is not much more bother. I guess if I do get blister rust, it couldn't hurt to try. So far it looks as if my tree is ok. Shane
