Should I repot? My ficus has slugs & worms!
This is my problem right now, and I was wondering what I should do. I just bought a "Too little Ficus", a week ago, and the directions said to soak the plant for 5 minutes, and I did. Well while it was soaking, a slug came out of the moss, and then I seen a worm, I tried to catch it, but as soon as I came near the water the worm hide again, then I seen some little tiny small bugs swimming in the water too. So Should I repot, or what? By the way I did remove the slug. I really want to save this tree, cause I think its pretty nice looking, for being a bigginner and all. All comments are appreciated. Thanx all.

ASM: Slugs are no good, I leave the worms in my bonsai soil I think that they are benificial. You sometimes have to wash some worm poo off of your moss but other than that I think that they are ok! If the small bugs are ants put a couple drops of dish soap (small drops) into your water the next time that you soak your tree. The ants will disapear.

Re: What should I do? *Please Help
Well do you think it would be ok if I repot it, cause its in a very small plastic container. The containeer is about 2 inches in lenght x 2 inches width x 2 inches height. It looks small to me anyway, and the tree is about 8 inches tall.

Re: What should I do? *Please Help
if you think it needs repotting go ahead and do it,but only one step up in size,go to a three inch pot.
it wont hurt to pull the tree out of its pot and look at the roots,if the soil falls away, put it back in the same size pot.if there is a tight root ball, loosen some of the roots and use a bigger pot. the only problem with useing a too big pot is it becomes difficult to water correctly.
