Pest identification
Hello all,
One of my maples has got a few pests (aphids?) on it and I was wondering if anyone could help me identify what type of aphid and give me some advice on how to kill them. I had these pests arrive in February (yep that early) but I sprayed them with a high power hose and knocked them all off. I noticed yesterday they they have just returned (with their friends) so I sprayed them again but still have some clinging on. They seem to be very selective. I'm not sure why but none of these dark pests (aphids?) are on my cork bark maple, which is about 2 foot away. In fact on my cork bark maple their was about 5 green aphids but none of these dark ones. I'm hoping I can get some advice from you guys/girls. Thanks |
