Olive and Azalea leaf questions

The two pics are of my olive and azalea. First the azalea....what causes the the leaves to discolor in this way every late summer?. It doesnt seem to affect the following years growth but I'm curious. Next.....The Olive. Have a little yellow and browning of the leaves. To much sun, water or nighttime temps? Temps here have been dipping into the high 50s. TIA

Azalea looks like it has lace bugs. Don't know about the olive.
