The second tree is definitely a Fukian Tea. Every bug on earth loves them. I use Safers Soap for aphids and All Seasons oil spray for scale. I have used a systemic called Marathon as well and it does a great job over the longer period.
Good luck,..Hector

Hi,
sorry, I could only reply now to the answers you gave me because my internet has been off. I've got good news, the Pinus is extreemly healthy, it has given flowers and is growing very nicely. The Fukien Tree has recovered due to CARL'S SOAP SOLUTION, and I only used it once The leaves are regrowing.Thatk you all so much. Cheers! |

G'day z3r0...
Remember, before you use any insecticide or pesticide or fungicide...any "cide" of any description...on your bonsai, be certain that you have conclusively identified your subject pest/problem and the species of your bonsai. Then use ONLY that "cide" that has indicated ON THE LABEL, the IDENTIFIED pest/problem and the plant species. And, ALWAYS follow the label directions. Further, you said "...I can't put my bonsais outside because they would die due to the extremely cold weather...". Your Pine is an outdoor plant. Relegating it to the indoor life, is certain death...well, at least 99% perfect. Good luck wuth your bonsai. Pat
