I had a problem last season with a psychotic looking lady bug swarm. They were red with black spots, could fly, but had a more of an oblong shape, taller legs, and the eyes sat atop two separate antennaes
They looked like lady bugs on acid. They ate the leaves of all my flowering planets within just a few days, and left once they killed the plants. Any ideas on what thiey might be? I have searched and searched, but to no avail. I was told they were possible japanese beetles, but I coul;dn't find one that matched their description. I really want to know what the heck I am dealing with before they come back this year and kill all my new plants. Susan |
