juniper with white needles with silk substance

I have a juniper that has just recently begun showing white needles with some type of silky substance around the needles. Looks like a very small web that is wrapped around the needles. I did have mites about a month ago but used a gentle soap and water mixuture and have not seen them since. Not sure if this current problem is related to the mites. Any tips would be a great help. Thank you.

Re: juniper with white needles with silk substance

Sounds like spider mites. *You can check in the pests section in the ***FAQ*** or search this forum on spider mites.

Regards,

Matt
