Japanese apricot problem
I noticed one of my japanese apricots has a bore, what would be the best way to deal with this? Looks like it just started boring in the base of the tree within the past month, isnt it an odd time for borers to be a problem as I am in connecticut and it is the fall now, thought they were only active during the summer? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Find some insecticide that's available in your area, ideally one listed for borers like lindane and apply it right in the borer holes.
