Bug fat green beetle

any idea what a fat looking green beetle could be doing round my trees? the icon i have attached to my message, the little blue beetle, well imagine that green. is it gonna harm my trees?

i was laughing at how short and sweet the message was, not what the message implied. i think it was just a shield bug. dead now either way, so wont bother trees
