2004 Spring Show - Deciduous

Post your spring deciduous trees in a formal display (uncluttered backdrop - stands, scrolls, suiseki, if you have them!)

Yes - leaves are OK for the Aussie folks; we know it's not spring everywhere!

Kabudachi Maple

I'll kick this one off too.

I'm not sure that my 'accent' is strictly allowable, but I couldn't find anything in the garden that screamed "early spring" more than plum blossom. Without it, this could be a winter picture. You decide...

Regards,

Fish.

Here is the maple again now in (nearly) full spring glory.
Told you it was 4 weeks too early

BTW- I made the stand myself (kept me busy for a few days in mid winter) from timber offcuts that I scrounged of a carpenter at work. Wouldn't i love a workshop like Al's
