First looks like a trident maple, second one I don't recognise, third looks like a liquid ambar aka sweetgum.

I think Barbara is right.
First : It certainly looks like Trident maple - but I wasn't aware that grew naturally anywhere in USA. So it could be some other maple. Second is Oak. It looks like young growth on European Oak... Third - Liquidamber - yep.

Definitely not a Trident. Trident has no secondary notches on the lobes like this one.
And the others are definitely Oak and Sweetgum.

1. I bet it is a juvenile Acer Rubrum leaf (Red Maple). Trident are not indigenous to North America.
2. Quercus Alba. White Oak. Not good for Bonsai. don't like to be potted/repotted. 3. Yes, Liquidambar. Sweetgum. ![]() |

It's acer rubrum. I'm about to lift three of them that have the same leaf pattern. I was initially fooled into thinking they were tridents because they were in a line a trees that included tridents. I had never seen an acer rubrum that looked so similar to trident. They are acer rubrums. The other two are oak and sweetgum. Sweetgum grows everywhere in my area.
