Natural shaped bonsai
I instantly fell in love with this one. Unfortunately there is no way I'm gonna be able to collect this. It's completely stuck in the crack. I have no idea how and where the roots gets water from. Does anyone have any idea about how old this might be?

Readymade cascade
This tree is gonna be lucky if it is not a part of my collection by next summer
 Unfotunately the picture isb't very good and there is a lot of grass covering the trunk which has a lot of movement and also some lovely deadwood.

Johannes: So glad to have you posting in on this thread. What is the specie of pine in your last two photos, And yes that looks very interesting. How long did you have to travel to reach the place where you were photographing these trees. Looks to be a wonderful specinmen of pine.

I guess it's a Pinus sylvestris as this is the only Pine I know of that grows in the wild in Norway. I found this tree in a forrest about 10min by car and 5 min by foot from where I live. I guess I'll have to bring with me someone more experienced to help me dig this up. I don't want to spoil this one due to lack of knowledge.

I will gladly come over and help you dig it up.Just send me a round trip ticket and I'm there.In fact if you have got tree's there like this you can make it a one way ticket.

Been to the forrest again
Just came back from the forrest again and found some more lovely natural shaped Bonsai collected on film. I can higly recommend this activity while waiting for next collecting season.
I believe this one will actually come off and be a part of my collection next spring. There's a cascade potential there I guess.

Natures masterpiece
This beauty is deeply rooted thru a crack in the mountain. No taller than me. Stunning taper. layer upon layer of old bark. I found tap-roots about 15-20 meters away so there is no way to collect this one without dynamite. On the other hand I would feel guilty to nature if I removed this to my garden.
