I use FarmTek poultry flooring. They are 2x4 fiberglass/plastic panels with 1" grid and can interlock or not depending on your preference.

They aren't cheap but have stood up to about 8 years of TX sun. Not that whimpy OH sun...

True.... they need a bit of work.

I let my two pyr's kennel up in the house when they aren't working. If I let them sleep in the bed there wouldn't be room.

Then the Border Collie and my son's mutt would be jealous...
