Special thanks to all those who were greatly against this idea and against my involvement with it, you more than anyone else, persuaded me to continue. The complaints, the criticism, the insults, the attacks, the thread closings and the refusals to link to this information source tempered my convictions and gave me the energy to do it all again.
Regards,

Matt

All,

After all the debate, Will has now put the information on a separate web-space. Now the dust has settled, what do we have before our very eyes.
A GREAT RESOURCE !

I for one appreciate the time and effort that went into the original idea and indeed the set-up that exists now.

I will certainly refer to it myself and point others to it where I can.

A personal and public thanks to Will from me !

He obviously has a mass of enthusiam for Bonsai, and thankfully for us, finds the time to benefit us all.

Best Regards,
Ian.

However, form the perspective of the new guy. These have given me an easy way to find the information I've looked for, with out having to spend time digging and searching for it. I've found that having this info bundled into a neet little package gives me the opportunity to brows the info quickly, and choose what is or what is not the proper for me.
What is the difference if I do a search and find said info, or if Will and others have taken the time to compile it for me? (not to say that I don't dig for more, but it gives me a quick start)
As for the catchy title whats the big deal? Its a title, it catches attention. Does anyone realy think that anyone takes these titles as gospel? That we are so nieve to think that these threads contain "the meaning of life"?
I just don't understand why grown up boys and girls can't play nice and stop attacking oneanother on this forum. I don't know what has started these rivalries, and don't care to. The senceless bickering between a couple of individuals has killed more than one, otherwise informative discussion.
Just my perspective.

I think the perspective in this case bears a great deal on keeping the information already gathered by Will within BonsaiTalk and not in the wiki confines. The links are based on opinions from various sources and should not in my view be dismissed much the same as we don't disregard information held in book form. All data that could be helpful should be within reach easily for the users of this forums' exclusivity. We can all benefit from this 'further education' without the need for discussion, a reference library if you like. As pioneersnt stated he can always dig for more information if he so desires. As i said in an earlier post on this thread the information could be of great help for the novice and may cut down the frustration of trying to give help to those who do not grasp what we are getting at. Will should be appointed Head Librarian and manage the facility. I hope these points will be given some thoughtful consideration. Kind Regards Ash
