Yellowing leaves on a Benji
This Benjamina isn't too happy. It's been in full sun, not over watered, (maybe under watered) and has not been fertilized for about three weeks. Our weather has been in the high 80's and humid. The soil is fast draining and contains roughly 60% to 40% inorganic to organic materials. It has been outside for about a month and a half. I've moved it to a shady spot and hopefully it will recover. These symptoms are also showing on another ficus, so I think it has to be something that I'm doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Bob.

I have a couple of ficus and what i suspect is that if the leaves are drooping it needs more water. They are pretty tolerant, but in tropical climates which they come from they get a lot more water. Water it thoroughly until the water runs clear out of the pot on the bottom then check back in a week.

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the leaves look dull, not just dry.Check for spider mites.

Thanks all, I appreciate your responses. This probably is a watering problem, however I will check for mites. For some reason I thought that even though these are tropical trees, they were able to tolerate a bit of dryness. Bob.
