Umbrella tree rotting?
Image of troubled area:
![]() ![]() just yesterday a small chunk fell out of the base of the trunk that was almost sponge like and now im concerned the tree map be rotting? Its just the base that feels a little spongey the rest of the trunk feels solid. Im using the bonsai monk soil mix that has turface and pine bark in it and i only water it when it starts to get dry. The leaves are all green and free of blemishes so im not sure why this one area appears to be rotting? Please help! Last edited by Delirious : 28-Oct-2007 at 01:35 PM. |
