Traumatized?
I have had a Golden Gate ficus for almost a year. I keep it in my office and it has been doing great and growing wonderfully. I was out of the office for a few days and a friend thought that it needed more light. She put it in a window that was sunny, cold and drafty. It was only in the window for about 24 hours, but two of the branches lost all of their leaves and after 10 days, I do not see any new growth. The other branch is still green and healthy. Will the two branches come back to life? Is there anything else I can do? Help! Thank you very much for your advice.

Not much you can do to help now. Just monitor the water intake of the tree, only watering when the soil is starting to dry out. Make sure you keep your tree warm, and anything you can do to raise the humidity around the tree will help. Those branches may or may not leaf back out. Nothing to do now but just wait and see.

Sounds like simple leaf drop due to environmental changes, move your fig back and treat in the same manner you were before, chances are good that it will re-bud and return to normal.
