i have a varigated dwarf sheff and its leaves are curling up. Here is a Pic:

I get similar growth on a schefflera. Mines not variegated though. I haven't noticed the leaves ever changing that grow like this initially. That said, the plant doesn't show any signs of stress/trama because of it.

Some of the leaves on my scheffs curl, some don't. Regardless, they all keep growing like weeds...indoors or out. The leaf in your pic looks pretty healthy to me...
