Exclamation pyricanthia in need

my tree is a pyricathia and it keeps dropping its leaves they go yellow brown black then drop it is still flowering . i water it thoroughly every few days as specified in my bonsai book. it is not kept in direct sunlight i feed it with balanced npk once every two weeks. so why the hell is this happening. i've had it for about 3 weeks and this has only really started in the last 10 days or so. i bought it at a garden centre. HELP

indoors is it not an indoor tree???

see subject i think it is a pyricathia but it could be a malayen apple or a fukien tea

No. In most parts of the world pyracantha grows outside. I did close a casement window on a firethorn hedge growing near the house once, trapping a bough indoors, but that is as close as I ever got to growing pyracantha indoors.

They grow outdoors in full sun, where they get 10-100 times the light intensity you'd find in a sunny window or a shady one.
