i thought so. i would have said that the pest on here was mealy bugs, i just wanted to make sure.

Mealy bugs are those little armored trucks of critters, right? With antennae and armored plating. At least, I think they are... we also call them "pill bugs" because they roll up into a ball if you touch them. Or "rolly pollys", same reason.
Or are mealy bugs a different beast? Joanie

I finally managed to repot it today. I read two books who both agreed on what to do so I followed that! Its surprising how wrongly it was potted the first time round
 Poor bonsai! I hope it survives!Ive been looking at buying some seeds but I cant find any in my area. Anyone know of a cheapist supplist for the UK online. |

Mealy bugs...
Mealy bugs are white fuzzy things as well. They do not have distinct heads and tails to the naked eye. The often occur at the base of new growth and could be rubbed off by hand or washed off. Neem oil worked well for me. Apply every 5 days for 3 weeks.
