As you can see my bonsais are growing new stuff, does this mean they're doing well and surviving?
They did throw off every old leaf though

Growin new leaves is a good thing. Pay attention to watering and in a few weeks if it's still growing add about a 1/4 dose of fertilizer every 3-4 weeks, then look forward to spring now is about all you should do till then.

And in case of pesticides, what should I use then?
Cuz the fukien tea is showing minor whitish scales on em, i picked them off though and be very carefull with overwatering.

Looking a little closer at the photo I can see the tell tale white stuff, look for what amounts to little beige/brownish lumps, they should be relatively easy to remove, then squish en - It'll make you and the tree feel better.

Picking them off is all I do never had it bad enough to do anything else. When I do use sprays inside I use a pyrethrin based product, don't even know the name of the botle I have now.

Peters, Miracle grow, what ever is on sale will suffice. Keep it minimal though it doesn't need much till spring.

... maybe the FUKIEN TEA is infested with SPIDER MITES. Than increasing of humidity is the most efficient enemy against it.

Spider mites are visible right? Cuz i can't find any annimal in the plant.
Next to that, i had some other animal in a plant of mine years ago, they spun a web in it and everything died, I could see those little critters.
For the humidity, i'm spraying pretty good with a normal plant spray, once or twice a day, depends on the room humidity.
I heard you could need some insecticide? For scales, or bugs, or anything else? And that sometimes a little bit of soap in the plantspray or a bit of spiritus in there (don't know the english translation for that)
would do wonders also?
But I'm a bit concerned with spraying soapy water on my plants, hardly seems organic or natural to me. I heard you could deploy bugs to eat the other bugs? that sounds awesome, but a bit of hard job.

... be very, very careful with insecticides and other plant spray. Your Fukien Tea is a DIVA. Against Spider Mites I would prefer to use systemic agents like onion brew and a high (60 percent and higher) humidity, spraying Your Carmona 2 times a day will be always very beneficial. Use the water filled clay pebble tray. Be also carefully with ferilizing a weak bonsai tree.

Cool

thx for your advice. I don't have any scales left in the plant right now, scales as in some white webby stuff. I can't see the spiders in it anyhow and I looked very good, after spraying I can't seem to find any web in it. It was only some minor white stuff on the branches, I was afraid it was a sign of funghi or some other rot. If it returns, I'll take a picture and send it here.

Could you give me a link or something to where I can find I can use organic natural anti bug stuff like the onion brew you were talking about and how to make em? In case I need it in the future.

About the fertilizer, I'm gonna have to get that shipped from germany, shouldn't I buy something else as I'm gonna pay the transport cost anyway?
Like earth or something? For repotting in the early spring?

Could you guys give me tips on which bonsai to buy next when these two seem to survive under my wing
I'm wondering if I would have to look carefull at which type of bonsai I buy before I would even concider buying it.

Viel Freude weiterhin an Ihrem Bonsai

HELPPPPPPPP

man, this sucks, I found a little critter in my plant.
Got some more detailed pics of the white stuff I find on my tree, but the pictures of the critter are unfocussed (man, i hate the quality of those phone pics, still no 32 bit installed to get my phone drivers working, next year gonna buy a new camera)
I posted the pictures of the little insect anyway, maybe somebody recognizes them.
What should I do? Am I too late and where can I get the stuff against it real fast here in holland?
Ordering from germany ain't an option now anymore...
