Leave problem on Japanese Maple

I am having a problem with a Japanese Maple I recently purchased from a garden center. I bought my first bonsai less than a year ago, so I have little experience. I bought the bonsai about a month ago. I think it was being raised as an indoor bonsai because it already had a full set of leaves, and some of them were very large for the size of the tree. Everything looked fine at the time of purchase and was fine for about a week or so. I then started to notice that the tips on some of the lobes were starting to dry out and it has progressed since then. Still, not all of the lobes on any given leaf are affected, and not all leaves are affected.

I have been keeping the bonsai outside. When I first purchased the tree the temp was in 50's during the day. I would bring it inside at night to protect it from the freezing temperatures ( I am in Germany). The weather starting getting nice about two weeks ago ( Sunshine and 60's - 70's daytime, 40's nightime) so I leave the tree out all night now. I keep the bonai on my balcony which is covered by a rippled "frosted" plastic roof. The tree is also not in direct sunlight for the entire day. I have fertilized the tree twice since I purchased it. I water it regularly, and the soil is always moist. I try to spray the leaves during the day on the weekend but during the week am unable to do so. I have not repotted the tree and only added a little commercial bonai soil to the top.

I have done some searches but haven't found anything quite like what I have. I don't know if it is fungal, insects, or the heat/sun. I have noticed a couple of the leaves appear to have had some insects eating away at them, but nothing major. I attached a few pictures.

jap maple leaves are prone to drying out quick, especially if there is some hot dry wind. Never water them in the morning as this can sit on the leaves and create problem as the sun hits them. you can leaf cut the damaged ones off if you wont, cut thru the stalk and this will produce new leaves. But note do this in summer. You dont wont them in full sun if you can help it, they grow quite well with some filtered sun and a position where they get afternoon sun. The rest of your routine sounds fine..

good luck glenn.
