lillilland bonsaiTALK Journeyman Join Date: Apr-2007 Location: Ontario Country: Canada Posts: 13	Leaf tips shrivelling up Hello, I'm new to taking care of bonsai trees, so hopefully someone can help with my question. The tips of the leaves on my tree are shrivelling up and turning dark, but the rest of the leaf seems okay. This has only been happening recently (maybe due to higher temperatures?). The tree is by the window sill but not in direct sunlight. Is there something I can do/not do to fix this? Thanks, Lil

It is a privet, I'm not sure how old it is (it was inherited). I hope that helps you help me!

They loose a few leaves now and again on inside branches, but they yellow first. Try putting it outside and let some fresh air and sunlight heal it.
