Dying? Dead? Bonsai (darf juniper)

I have had my bonsai for a yr now. It did really great up until winter when i brought it inside. Right now it sits about two inches away from my window. There is no green under the bark. what are the chances of bringing this guy back?

My guess is that he has gone to jedi heaven. Look for juniperus chinensis "procumbens nana" at a local nursery.
