Dying Boxwood Mallsai
I received a Boxwood Bonsai purchased at a Mall (OOPS!) last Christmas. It was doing fine until about two months ago. The leaves got dry inspite of daily misting and weekly watering. The reference I had only listed over- or under-watering as a possible cause, but no possible remedies. Is there anything that can be done before we head for the trash can?
Thanks for your help. |

Re: Dying Boxwood Mallsai
Hi Donna,
Weekly watering sounds like you may have been watering weakly. Soak the tree for at least an hour and then water when the soil no longer feels moist to the touch. If it hasn't regenerated leaves in a couple of weeks, that's about it. You can scrape the bark to see if you can see any green beneath the beige bark. Good luck, Matt
