Collected Shrub

i collecter some kind of shrub, about 2 months ago it was about 3" or so, and cut the tap root, so it didn't have much roots, but than it lost all of it's leaves and so it looks dead, but i checked and it is still green on the inside, i don't know how to take care of it, the leaves have been gon for about a month and a half, i need desperate help, it has an excellant branch tracery, and it grew wild, it was a beautiful tree, i would love to save it, any help would be appretiated

There's nothing really to be done but wait and water as needed. Don't overwater it, and if it has the will to live, it will push out some new buds. It may take months, but as long as there is some green in the trunk, there is hope.

If you can elevate the humidity it could be helpful, maybe misting occasionally. If you had a greenhouse that would be ideal.

ok, do i need to take the moss of the top, i put it on, to keep water in

I don't know where you put the moss or what kind you're talking about -- on the surface of the soil? It's probably not going to help any and may make the soil stagnate. I am sure there is no problem keeping water in the soil if there are no leaves.

yes it is on top, and it is just some kind of bushy green moss, that i collected
