Cedrus Libany

Dear Forum
This is my first posting.
I got Cedrus Libany 8 yo, there is some hairlike black growth at the branch bases.
I have coulpe of Bonsai books, but no mention of that, is that problem or not.

HELP, I can't kill my first bonsai (what a start)

Peter

Re: Cedrus Libany

Okay, first question, how long have you had it? Second question? Where is it located?

(The right answer to the second question is outside in full sun), even if you live in Lebanon.
