Two suggestions:
1. It could be too wet, How much are you watering it?
2. It could be becoming dormat. The leaves will go yellow and fall due to this.

The best way to find out what is happening with your tree is to see if you can find a club nearby and take it to there next meeting.

There is numerous clubs in South Florida, and you can find the one closest to you and find out there next meeting date by visiting: http://www.bonsai-bsf.com/clubs/. Bonsai Societies of Florida has information about all their member clubs in Florida.

If you have any trouble finding a club near you, please email me and I will try and put you into contact me and I will try to help.

Also, look on the BSF website about there Convention in June 2008 with Cheng Cheng-Kung, Sean Smith and more very talented artist. http://www.bonsai-bsf.com/events/2008/convention/ Conventions are great ways to learn.

So if it is too wet do i remove it from the pot now? I checked today and it is like many more leave turned yellow overnight. I don't think that since it is fall all the leave would drop so fast, besides why would the leaves fall in florida.

I dont think you need to repot it. If you live anywhere near us in West Palm Beach, it has been raining alot.

These trees are fairly hardy and they will start loosing leaves soon. I asked one of our growers in Florida what he thought and the reply he gave me was what I posted. It is hard to know what is happening from a picture.

The members of Florida Bonsai will help you if you can go to a meeting or you can email someone.
Please feel free to email me through this site and I will get you intouch with someone near you.

You can also check to see if you need to water by sticking a toothpick into the soil,if its dry,its time to water,if the stick is somewhat wet, leave it alone.

The soil is moist but not wet, i guess some leaves have stopped falling ofd but it is very bear now. It is still under the umbrella because it's been non stop raining here and wanted it to get a short dry period before i water it again just incase it was too much water. It is still alive and green whe i scratch the bark. Thanks Bonsailover1 for the links i will try to check out some local clubs.
