Azalea




i have a sort of dying azalea, it still is growing roots. it is slowly coming back to health, i was wondoring if any1 knows any tips for this type of plant?

That thing looks pretty dead. Are you sure it's worth your time? Not much movement or taper here if it were alive. You can get a healthy plant for $5 at most garden centers.

If you still want to try - cut back to green wood and live roots; repot in well draining mix (ideally pure kanuma, but a mixture of shredded (not powdered) peat moss, lava, orchid bark and pumice; be careful not to overwater, but never let an azalea dry out.

Organic fertilizer or Miracid water soluble fert. would work on this.
