Aphids
I am not sure what type of tree I own, but it is covered in Aphids. I went on holiday for a few weeks and my friend watered the tree, but did not notice it getting ill. The majority of the leaves are now turning sticky and yellow. have been told to spray it with a 1% solution of washing up liquid, but to only do this three times. I am not sure if this will be enough as the infection has really taken hold. I don't want to put anyhting to abrasive on it either as it is quite sensitive
Any suggestions? Andrea |

Re: Aphids
I just had this same problem, i picked up some shultz houseplant & gardens insect spray, it worked really good and kills aphids on contact and its not made of strong chemicals that will hurt your tree, its actually made of chrysathamum flowers and worked very good for me. you can read treebays reply to my question on the best way to take care of them here: http://www.memobug.com/treebay/cgi-bin/YaBB/YaBB.cgi?board=pests&action=display&num=1006302063
