I think Leesa said it all in her last statement: "*I am trying to get back to enjoying my trees and enjoying working on my trees - right or wrong - isn't it about enjoying the process??" When we get so wrapped up in the right way and the wrong way and then suggesting that vendors be graded by some subjective set of criteriea we really do lose sight of why we are doing this--to have fun and have an enjoyable hobby/art.

I think Walter Pall said that the essence of contemporary bonsai is doing what pleases the bonsai enthusiaist not going by anybody else's rules.

Hey I have an idea! Let's grade the Mallsai vendors by how much they are enjoying their jobs! That's what it's all about anyway.
